Exam tips...

Since Mastery Review \ Prelim 1 is coming, I shall post on some studying tips, which I hope they will be able to help you study better...

1) At any point of time when you feel bored when studying, listening to music should help you feel better. Music + Mug = Good results for me! Hope it works for you...

2) DO NOT write notes. I think it is a waste of time. You will be writing down things which you already know, things which you understand. In the end when you revise and read your notes, you will be reading something which you already know. You should be studying on stuff which you dunno...

3) Highlighting and revise. The textbook is your guide book, highlight and revise the textbook, you be guaranted an 'A'.

4) Take breaks in between, give sometime for your brains to absorb whatever it have came across...

5) Organised studying. Know what you are suppose to study, this way, you will be able to study more within a shorter period of time.

6) Don't feel too stressed over exams. take it easy. It's only an exam. As long as you think you studied enough, you will be able to do well. Trust yourself, worrying wouldn't help...

7) Sleeping early gives you a fresher and a better brain for the test the next day!

8) HAVE CONFIDENCE! A positive mindset will help you ace your exam better.

Life is like a race...

Three! Two! One! Go!

After the whistle blew, I was being shoved into the crowd, running with a bunch of unfamiliar people in lane 8. There was barely few recognisable faces in this lane. I felt so alone...

The pace was good, steady, instead, I felt that it was too slow for me, I was far ahead of the group. Deep down in my heart I knew that lane 8 was not suitable for me...

Without warning, I shoved into lane 4. As I looked up, my lane empty. I could not see anybody in front of me. Soon I realised that I was 2 weeks behind time. The steady and slow pace of lane 8 was gone, I found myself sprinting...

The road ahead seem endless, but I told myself this was the race I wanted. I ran hard, hoping that I could catch up for the lost time, soon, I found myself panting...

Slowly but gradually, I caught sight of the group ahead of me, and in the crowd, there were many familar faces... I heaved I sigh of relief... "Finally" I told myself... It is all gonna be over soon, little did I expect what was to come...

I knew I was already panting very heavily, trying to close up the gap between us. My lungs were about to burst, but I kept on running... Finally, I caught up with the group. I felt so elated for myself.

"I did it!"

Without warning, lash 34 flew towards me and knocked me down. Slowly, I watch the group leave me behind once again... This time round, I was already too tired to run anymore...

Just when I thought I succeeded, I was back to square one. All the positive thoughts in my mind has turned into desperation...

I am tired, weak, carrying a bag way too heavy for myself with a stick dragging me down even more. My legs can hardly move now.

Sad to say, some people are even mocking me at my back, hoping that I will fall back to lane 8 but I would'nt give up, not just yet...

Sometimes, I thought of giving up and returning to lane 8 but I know if I were to return back to lane 8, my coach will change me to another race. I would'nt be able to stay in this race anymore... All the familar faces will be gone...

I don't want to release my stick so the only way now is for me to continue running, even faster, even harder.

Mentally and physically I was tired. Weights are piling onto my shoulders. Futhermore, my stick is causing me to be more tired than I'm already am..

Should I give up on this race? Was'nt this what I wanted?

Is this race too fast and too tough for me to handle? or should I just move on and forget bout everything?

I'm in a race where I cannot see the finishing line... YET.

The reaason why parents nag at you IS SIMPLY because they care about you. Did you ever find your neighbour nagging at you? NO. Did you ever find the bus driver nagging at you. NO. This is because they do not care about you, what you do is none of their business. If your parents, care about you, what in the hell give you the right to talk back at them? As most of you guys should know, I'm always on bad relationship with my parents. Why have I suddenly become like this?

After the league match against Weekend Warriors, we PLANNED to play overnight lan. I was planning to lie to my parents that I have fallen asleep at my friends house. But when my mum called me, she was worried and CONCERN about me. Anxious. So I decided that I should go home instead. It was 12.15 when I reached home, I saw my dad waiting for me on the sofa. Half asleep, half awake. I was so touched. He was so worried for me that he stayed awake just to wait for my return. I dare not imagine what will happen if I did not go home that night...

My parents also called Mr Han to discuss with him about my CCA matters. About me commiting too much on my CCA and not putting effort in my studies. I should be pissed right? Why interfere with my CCA? But then if you look at things from their perspective, all they want me to do is to work hard in my studies. They care about me and why should I be pissed with them?

What parents do are always for our good. Instead of being fillial to our parents, some of us even talk back at them. Now think again, what give you the god damn right to talk back at these people who CARE and LOVE about you. These people who brought you up?

Update on ME!

Hi readers! Just to tell you guys what's going on in my life over this few days...

- Transferred into 3-4. Taking triple science le. Stressed-up! Need to mug like shit... Can't imagine life without studies... Would be like heaven~~~

- Won Weekend Warriors 6-5 in an epic battle till the last min! We let in 3 goals in 2 mins and ended 1st period 1-4. We did not give up then. We went into the 2nd period coming back into the game with 2 goals by njc, letting in 1 goal in the process. We ended the 2nd period 3-5, with a very high chance of coming back from behind. Crenshawn managed to score to make it 4-5. With a beautiful pass from Ryan, Isaac scored the equaliser close to the 10 mins mark. In the 12th min, we were awarded a penalty and Isaac missed it!!! At 15th minutes, Ryan miss a shot in front of the goal! Thank god I was around XD. During the confusion when Crenshawn and the defender were snatching the ball, I swiftly took a top corner shoot to seal our 1st league win( Last 2 mins) . Our 'B' Div Grouping... (Analysis)

This post shall be an analysis on our 'B' div grouping...

With such a strong squad this year, I believe we can make it to the top 4 as long as we focus and give in our best!

1) Teck Whye - A relatively strong team around our standard. Tend to play physical, strong but not really good with skills thou. Do not really have play-up but get in goals by body-ing their way through. We played against them before and lose dearly. We know we can beat them and we shall beat them as long as we keep our focus during the game and do not get too emotional.

2) East View- Another school around our standard. Only the 'C' div played against them before and they are a relatively strong team with good play-up. We just have to keep up with the intensity and watch out for passes.

3) Swiss Cottage- A team which we will beat easily however, do not let our guards now. This 3 points is crucial to advance to the 2nd round...

4) Canberra- Another team which we can beat easily but we should not look down on our opponents, we have to grab this 3 points if we wanna qualify. We should play at our own intensity and not slow down to their pace...

5) Assumption English- I would say this is the most dangerous team in our group, 'C' div last year took them down 5-1 but their 'B' div won us 0-8. It will be very hard to gauge their ability. We just have to give in all the best we can and I believe we will be able to claim victory! They may be good but we have improved as a team to a much higher level...

AS far as I know, we stand a very high chance in getting 1st in our group and can easily qualify as long as we play to our standard and stay focused..

Well, I'm writing this post to let you people get to know me better...

More about me:

1) I'm not on really good terms with my parents ( You should know if you have been reading), I think they give me too little freedom and $, pretty unreasonable as well.

2) I like to hang out with my friends, watch movies although I usual don't have the $, just go out and have fun!

3) Pretty much addicted to dota but don't like being a noob. I want to be apro! >.<

4) I'm pretty sociable I believe =) Like to make friends, esp females XD But I'm shy?!? So still no gf till today... HAIZ...

5) Like girls with bundled-up hair and wearing tubes. Cute face with big eyes. Should not go too far... ( Like her behaviour on the bed)

Never been so sad...

I have been through quite a lot of things over this week; it was so bad that I even thought about running away from home and even committing suicide. Not that I’m trying to exaggerate, its all true. Let me tell you what ran through my mind when I thought about running away from home.

I believe at that point in time, I was thinking that if I leave this place, I probably could find a low income job and live with it. I could earn my own money and will no longer need to beg from my dad for money. I will be free, I don’t have to study anymore, I may even have a chance to train my dota skill so well that I can be a professional dota gamer and make big bucks. That was what was in my mind then… But when I look at my plan again, it all seemed impossible, unrealistic. With a PSLE certificate, how is it possible to find a job at 15? And where do I get the money to play dota, where can I live?

When I thought about suicide, I was thinking if life is so tough and painful and it will be worse in the future when I enter the society, why bother staying in this world, if my parents don’t care about me, when I die, I can make them live in regret for the rest of their life! But when I thought about it again the next day, is it really worth dying just to spite my parents? We will always encounter problems in life, running away from them do not solve the problem at all, that was what I told myself…

Although I most of the time LOOK happy, deep down under I’m not. But I always try to be happy, cose

Only by being happy, then will you be able to bring joy to others...

Reasons to be sad:
1) Dota gone…

2) Even though my parents took my keyboard away (Causing me to be unable to play anymore), they are still lecturing me and even suspecting me of playing… Eh, no keyboard and mouse play what…

3) Got into 1 of the lousiest class in the level, how did I get there when my level position is 100+/300+…

4) Class with pretty bad influence, gonna be a bad boy soon…

5) Getting $ for books, guide books and stuff for school usual end up in an 1 hour argument. WTH, not like I’m taking money to go out and play, I’m taking $ to buy books!

6) Mum always suspecting me for no reason, take $ buy books say I cheating their $..

7) Had to pay the $40 for the league myself, totally broke…

8) PB being stricter and stricter…

I know my life seriously suck now but I know it will all be over soon ( At least that is what I tell myself…) There is 1 way to overcome all of this cose this is all in the MIND~

All of my worries are caused by my mind… I just have to view things from a different perspective, then my life will be without worries… It always will, and I believe it will happen again this time… I hope.

Starting a fresh year...

Although I'm not in 1 of my best mood to blog (with my mum nagging right beside me)... I still have to blog cose this I may not get a chance soon...

I hope everyone of us can note down goals we hope to achieve this year, not on paper, but in our minds...

As long as we can keep in mind our goals, we will be able to achieve them as long as we put in effort and time... If you wanna be famous, be good at smth, you have to sacrifice time and effort... Bear in mind your goals and do not be swayed by distractions in your way.

I already have a few topic in mind to dicuss with you guys but I don't have time right now...
